Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 8 pieces bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C). Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and place them in a baking dish.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until combined.
  • Brush or spoon the honey mustard mixture over the chicken thighs, ensuring they are coated thoroughly.

Cooking

  • Bake the chicken in the oven for about 40 to 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 175°F (80°C).
  • In the last few minutes of baking, turn on the top oven broiler for 2 to 3 minutes to achieve a crispy skin.

Notes

For best results, pat the chicken dry for crisp skin and consider marinating in the honey mustard mixture for enhanced flavor. Monitor closely while broiling to avoid burning.
