  • Begin by placing the shredded chicken in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add in the chopped celery and stir it in gently but thoroughly.
  • Toss in the halved red grapes, being careful not to squish them too much.
  • Add the chopped red onion and mix well.
  • Include the toasted sliced almonds and fold them in gently.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, fresh lemon juice, kosher salt, and black pepper.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and fold gently to coat.
  • Taste the salad and adjust seasoning if necessary before serving.

Notes
