Preparation

  • Season the chicken thighs with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Set aside to allow seasonings to penetrate the meat.

Cooking Chicken

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken thighs skin side down until golden brown and crispy. Flip to brown the other side, then remove from the pan.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, melt unsalted butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and stir until fragrant.
