  • 1 lb ground chicken Can substitute with turkey if needed.
  • 2 cups chopped broccoli Chop to uniform sizes for even cooking.
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped) Enhances sweetness when sautéed.
  • 3 cloves garlic (grated or minced) For flavor enhancement.
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated) Adds a unique flavor.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce Adjust according to spice preference.
  • 3 tbsp honey or brown sugar For a touch of sweetness.
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

Cooking Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp avocado oil For sautéing ingredients.
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Garnish

  • Green onions and sesame seeds For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat the avocado oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the finely chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  • Add the ground chicken, breaking it apart with a spatula as it browns.

Cooking

  • Once the chicken is nearly cooked, sprinkle in the paprika, salt, and pepper, stirring to coat evenly.
  • Toss in the chopped broccoli and steam until bright green, stirring frequently.
  • In a small bowl, mix the buffalo sauce, honey or brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and fresh ginger.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli, stirring until everything is combined and heated through.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Serve with rice or quinoa, or in lettuce wraps. Store leftovers in an airtight container, good for 3-4 days in the fridge or up to 3 months in the freezer. Reheat gently.
