Flatbreads

  • 2 pieces flatbreads or naan (store-bought or homemade)

Chicken and Sauces

  • 1 cup cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works best)
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce plus extra for drizzling

Cheeses

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Toppings

  • ¼ cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro or parsley
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or garlic butter (optional, for brushing base)

Optional Toppings

  • pickled jalapeños, bacon bits, crispy fried onions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven and gather all your ingredients. Set aside a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Place flatbreads on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the base lightly with olive oil or garlic butter if desired.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken and BBQ sauce, mixing until the chicken is well coated.

Assembly

  • Spread the BBQ chicken mixture evenly over the flatbreads.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheeses over the chicken.
  • Add sliced red onions on top and garnish with chopped cilantro or parsley.

Baking

  • Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake until cheese bubbles and flatbreads are golden.
