Preparation

  • Begin by heating the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and dried oregano.
  • Place the seasoned chicken thighs in the heated skillet.

Cooking

  • Cook the chicken undisturbed for about 5 to 7 minutes until the undersides are golden brown.
  • Carefully flip the chicken thighs over using a spatula and continue cooking for another 5 to 7 minutes or until fully cooked.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and stir gently, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle the grated parmesan over the chicken thighs.

Finishing

  • Transfer the chicken to a serving platter and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

If your skillet is too crowded, cook the chicken in batches. Let the chicken rest after cooking for moist results. Use fresh garlic and quality parmesan for the best flavor.
