Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Marinade

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp minced fresh ginger

For the Coleslaw

  • 1 bag coleslaw (397g)
  • 4 pieces green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey

For Serving

  • 16 pieces wonton wrappers
  • sweet chili sauce, to serve
  • chopped cilantro, to serve
  • sesame seeds, to serve

Instructions
 

Marinate the Chicken

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the hoisin sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, and fresh ginger.
  • Add the finely diced chicken breasts and mix thoroughly until all pieces are coated. Let it marinate for a few minutes.

Prepare the Coleslaw

  • In a separate bowl, add the coleslaw mix and sliced green onions.
  • Drizzle in sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and honey. Toss gently to combine.

Grill the Chicken

  • Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  • Add the marinated chicken in an even layer and cook until browned and cooked through.

Serve

  • Plate the grilled chicken with a generous serving of coleslaw.
  • Garnish with sweet chili sauce, chopped cilantro, and sesame seeds.

Notes

Allow the chicken to marinate longer for deeper flavor. If grilling indoors, ensure good ventilation to minimize smoke. Wonton wrappers should be kept covered to avoid drying out. Don't skip garnishing as it enhances the flavor.
