Preparation

  • In a small bowl, combine the honey, chicken stock, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until smooth and well-blended.
  • In another bowl, mix together the cornstarch, salt, and garlic powder until thoroughly combined.
  • Toss the chicken cubes in the cornstarch mixture, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers. Carefully add the seasoned chicken, searing until golden brown.
  • Once browned, add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Pour the honey sauce into the skillet with the chicken and garlic. Stir well and cook until the sauce thickens, about five minutes.
  • Once thickened and the chicken is cooked through, remove from heat and serve.

Notes

Serve over rice or alongside roasted vegetables. Can be used in wraps or bowls for lunch. If leftovers remain, use them in a stir-fry or enjoy cold.
