For the Chicken

  • 1 lb Chicken breasts Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For frying
  • 2 tbsp Butter For flavor
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tsp Red chili flakes Adjust to taste
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup Heavy cream For creaminess
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • 1/2 cup Chicken broth For cooking rice
  • Salt & pepper To taste For seasoning

For the Rice

  • 1 cup White rice Cook according to package instructions using chicken broth

For Garnish

  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish

Preparation

  • Start by preparing your rice according to package instructions, using chicken broth instead of water for added flavor.
  • While the rice is cooking, cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the seasoned chicken, cooking until browned and cooked through.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter, add minced garlic and red chili flakes, and cook for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in lemon juice and stir, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet.
  • Lower the heat and add heavy cream, stirring until well combined. The sauce should slightly thicken.
  • Mix in grated Parmesan cheese until melted, adjusting salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Fluff the cooked rice and divide it into bowls, then top with the creamy hot honey chicken mixture.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and enjoy your meal!

Notes

Serve with a simple green salad or roasted vegetables. Leftovers keep well in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat on low heat on the stovetop.
