  • 1.5 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, Italian seasoning, paprika, kosher salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and ground pepper.
  • Trim any large fat deposits from the chicken thighs and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and rub it evenly on all sides.
  • Sprinkle the seasoning mix generously over the chicken thighs, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated.

Cooking

  • Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
