Preparation

  • Cut the pork shoulder or butt into chunks, ensuring they are not too large for even cooking.
  • Season the pork with salt and pepper to enhance its natural taste.

Mixing Ingredients

  • In a bowl, combine the drained pineapple chunks with soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and minced ginger.
  • Stir the mixture until the sugar is mostly dissolved.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned pork in the slow cooker and pour the pineapple mixture over the top, ensuring the pork is well coated.

Thickening Sauce
